“We really wanted to present our new collection in a very different way, rather than in the showroom or on the catwalk. It’s Milan Fashion week so we wanted to bring some magic and mystery to our new collection,” said the brand’s founder and designer at Dsquared2, Dan Caten. Dan, together with his twin brother Dean and The Twins FX, entertained guests with a performance of tricks, special effects and illusions.
“When they asked me if I wanted to join them on the stage I replied ‘Are you joking? Ask Renzo!’” said British designer Neil Barrett with a laugh, referring to Diesel chief Renzo Rosso, sitting front-row at the show.
DSQUARED2 is a favourite amongst top notch fashion magazine editorials and publications including Vogue, Elle and GQ. Their celebrity client list is second to none, and includes Paris Hilton, Dita Von Teese, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Madonna.
