Appearing in Channel 4’s hit comedy show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Twins FX have supplied many small-scale props and animatronics and tricks, among them the mischievous animatronic parrot featured in Season 20, Episode 1. The effect was used during Joe Wilkinson’s segment, where he proudly unveiled his “pet parrot”, a foul-mouthed, argumentative bird that caused so much chaos he was eventually forced to silence it by throwing a cloth over its cage.
